Bayanihan is a month-long event scheduled every September by the UP Circle of Engineering Students (UP CREST).

On its fifth year, with our three sub-events Adopt, Build and Clean, we follow the theme:
Serving the nation
is as easy as A-B-C.
The project aims to revive the spirit of Bayanihan among members and students in the University of the Philippines – Diliman, in working towards uplifting the economic and social well-being of our less-fortunate fellowmen and helping preserve our environment. UP CREST believes that by combining the socio-civic activities of individual organizations into a month will make a larger impact and will inculcate the notion of “giving back” among Iskolars ng Bayan. This will be composed of sub-events, namely Ignite, Inspire, Involve, and Initiate. Every sub-event will enable the participating organizations to give their biggest help among individuals of the society, the environment, and the community.

Bayanihan is presented by UP CREST and the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (iCSC), and supported by ClassPrints.
Special thanks to International Coastal Cleanup and Habitat for Humanity Philippines.
