HISTORY​

​Founded mostly by chemical engineering students, UP Circle of Engineering Students was established on January 29, 1997. It is an organization built upon its core values of “friendship” and “excellence”. Since then, UP CREST has been incessantly striving to break new grounds and foster camaraderie and goodwill. It has assumed its responsibility for developing leadership, teamwork, and ingenuity.

VISION

UP CREST shares the vision of the College of Engineering in producing the country’s best engineers. UP CREST shall be recognized by the college as the engineering-wide organization that cradles and trains inhenyeros to be competent, committed and conscientious professionals, cognizant of their important roles in the development of Engineering in the country.

EVENTS

The Engineering Overview
Engineering Overview is an annual event by the UP Circle of Engineering Students thaat intruduces the field of engineering to high school students through seminars and laboratory tours. Not only this event introduces engineering to high school students, but it also introduces UP College of Engineering.
​Inter-high Math and Physics Competition
IMPACT is an Inter-high Math and Physics Competition organized by the UP Circle of Engineering Students. IMPACT is a competition open to all Junior High School Students, encompassing topics in high school mathematics and physics
​Overexposed​​
​Overexposed is an annual nation-wide photography competition which challenges the creativity of photo enthusiasts. Through an exhibit, this event highlights exemplary pictures photographed by different participants around the country.​
